Good for quick content

I tried out their AI Podcast Summaries for my latest episode. It did a pretty good job, saved me some time for sure. The summary was concise and hit the main points. Setting up the audio upload was a little finicky the first time, but I figured it out. Overall, pretty solid.

Good features, easy to use

I recently tried out the AI Podcast Summaries and the Podcast Clip Maker for an episode I had. Ordering the service was straightforward on their website; I just uploaded my audio file and selected the features I wanted. The summaries generated were surprisingly coherent and captured the main points well, saving me a lot of time. The clip maker was also intuitive; I could easily select segments and it processed them quickly. Delivery of the processed files was almost instant. The only minor hiccup was that the Clip Maker's suggested cuts weren't always perfect, needing a bit of manual tweaking, but it was still a great starting point. Customer support wasn't needed, everything worked smoothly.

Useful tool, some small issues

I used Podsqueeze to generate show notes and social media posts for my latest podcast. The Show Notes Generator did a decent job, providing a good framework that I could then build upon. The Social Media Post Generator gave me a few options, which was helpful. The value for money seems fair given the time it saves. The process was generally smooth, though I found the 'AI Content Assistant' sometimes offered suggestions that were a bit generic and needed more specific prompting from my end. Overall, a positive experience, but there's room for the AI to be a little more nuanced with its output.

So easy to use!

I used the Podcast Transcript Generator and it was amazing! The transcript was super accurate, like, surprisingly so. My podcast episode was ready for my blog in minutes. Definitely shopping here again!

Handy tool, minor glitches

I needed to repurpose an old podcast, so I used the Blog Post from Podcast Converter. The core idea is fantastic, and it gave me a great starting point for a blog post. The generated content was structured well, and it pulled out key themes effectively. However, I still had to do a fair bit of editing to make it sound completely natural and conversational, especially with some of the phrasing. The interface was straightforward, and the pricing for what it offers seems reasonable, though I wish the initial word count was a bit higher before needing a subscription.

Consistent results, always come back

This isn't my first time using Podsqueeze. I've used their Podcast Transcript Generator multiple times now. The accuracy is consistently high, which is why I keep coming back. This time, I also tried the Multi-language Transcription for a guest who spoke in Spanish, and it handled it well. It's reliable and just works. My only minor suggestion would be for even faster processing for really long files, though it's already pretty quick.

Made my life easier

Needed some captions for a video, so I tried out their Video Captions feature. Uploaded my audio, and it did its thing. It wasn't perfect, had a few words wrong here and there, but it got like 95% of it right. Saved me from typing out everything myself, which is a huge win. The interface was pretty easy to figure out. I'd use it again.

So much time saved!

I just converted a long podcast into a blog post using the 'Blog Post from Podcast Converter' and I am SO happy! It took my raw audio and spit out a really readable draft. I can't believe how much time this saved me from transcribing and writing from scratch. It made content repurposing an absolute breeze. I'm definitely going to use this for all my future episodes. My friends who podcast need to know about this!

Can you actually cancel your subscription anytime or do they make it a pain? Some services are really sneaky about that.

M Mary W. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, it's easy. I paused mine for a bit last year and it was just a few clicks in the settings. No hassle at all.

H Hannah Campbell 3 weeks ago
Super simple to cancel. I tried it out for a month then cancelled before my next billing cycle, no issues. They don't try to make you jump through hoops.

What about student discounts? Anyone know if they offer those? I'm trying to start a podcast for my university project.

M Megan L. 1 month ago
I think they do! I remember seeing something about it. Might be worth checking their FAQs or just sending them an email.

B Brittany Diaz 1 month ago
Yeah, I've heard they have one. Not sure on the exact percentage but it's usually a good deal for students. Look for a specific link or mention on their site.

Thinking of signing up, but wondering if there's any way to get a discount? Like a student thing or something?

B Brittany D. 1 month ago
They totally have a student discount! I got one when I signed up last semester. Check their site, there should be a link or something.

Also, if you pay annually instead of monthly, it's like 20% off already. Plus sometimes they have promo codes pop up for new users, especially around Black Friday or the new year.

So, how many free minutes do you actually get with the free tier? Just wanna try it out before committing.

R Richard Ramirez 1 month ago
They give you a decent amount to start, I think it was like 30 minutes when I signed up. Enough to process a short episode and see how it works.

M Matt Mitchell 1 month ago
Yeah, it's not a ton but it's enough to test out the main features. You can definitely get a feel for the transcription accuracy and how the show notes come out with what they give you for free.

Does Podsqueeze do good with non-English podcasts? My show is mostly Spanish and I need accurate transcripts.

N Nancy Sanchez 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I've used it for a couple of episodes in German and it was surprisingly good. Not 100% perfect, but definitely usable. I'd give their free tier a try with one of your Spanish episodes to see if it works for you.

P Patricia 3 weeks ago
My friend uses it for his French podcast and he says it's solid. Not sure about Spanish specifically, but they do support multiple languages, so it's probably decent.

Hey, wondering if Podsqueeze is any good compared to Descript? I'm mostly after good transcripts and those social media clips.

J James Campbell 1 month ago
I've used both! Podsqueeze's transcripts are super accurate, like really good. For clips, it's pretty straightforward, maybe a bit less 'fancy' than Descript's video editing but way faster for just audio clips.
6
C Carol Young 1 month ago
Descript's more of a full video editor for podcasts, right? If you just need audio stuff and repurposing, Podsqueeze is probably overkill for Descript, and often cheaper too. Plus, the AI summaries are a lifesaver.

Any experience with their annual plan discount? Is it worth it to jump on that or should I just stick with monthly for now?

A Amanda Scott 1 month ago
Definitely worth it if you plan to use it regularly. I switched to annual and saved a good chunk, like 20% compared to paying monthly. It adds up over a year.
2
S Sean Scott 1 month ago
I'm on the annual plan. It's a standard SaaS move, they give you a discount to lock you in. If you're going to use it for more than a few months, it's a no-brainer.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone's tried Podsqueeze vs. Descript for their podcast stuff? I use Descript now but Podsqueeze looks like it does more AI things.

E Ella 4 weeks ago
I switched from Descript to Podsqueeze a few months ago. Podsqueeze's AI summaries and social media clips are way better, saves me so much time. Descript is good for editing but Podsqueeze is a content machine.

S Sandra Moore 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I use both kinda. Podsqueeze for the initial transcript and ideas, then pull the audio into Descript for fine-tuning. But if you just want quick content, Podsqueeze wins.
